About Us/Contact

Welcome to gammacloud.org!  So, what is this all about, anyway?

From 2005 to early 2011, we maintained a weblog on our old site greeklish.org.  When the server for that site was flagged for shutdown in late 2010, we decided to move some of our better content to this new site.  We hated to see the old website go away, but as the old Greek saying goes, “Nothing is more permanent than the temporary.”

gammacloud.org presents some of the best content from the past along with new commentary on a variety of subjects, from popular culture to science and politics.  Also featured on this site is our Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya Archive, featuring documents and images of the celebrated young heroine of the Soviet Union.

Some of this is fun and some of it’s serious but whatever the case, gammacloud.org is our new home on the ‘net for the foreseeable future.  Please have a look around and feel free to post comments directly or send us an e-mail (see below).  Απολαύστε το!

Also, please check out our big project, Erythros Press and Media.

Most of the text for gammacloud.org is authored by Mike B., but other folks do contribute.  Where possible, source material is appropriately cited.  See our Disclaimer page for more information regarding the material on this site.
